Installing Greenstone on a Mac is a GIANT DRAG!

but I did it..... This post is for me...so I remember how to do it on my lap top. I hope it works because I don't want to have to drive to Indianapolis to finish my digital archive.

OK, pay attention.
install the bitch using all the defaults.
Make internet Explorer (bleeech) your default browser

open Terminal and type this:

"/users/kay/greenstone/gs2-server.sh" without the quotes

That opens the browser interface, go into settings and make it look like this:























open terminal and type this
"/users/kay/greenstone/gli/gli.sh" again, without the quotes.
